With over 30 years experience of creating and preparing delicious and exciting Chinese dishes, Mr. Yu is proudly responsible for every dish curated on Hunan's extensive menu. His vast knowledge extends beyond American Chinese cuisine, to long forgotten traditional Chinese recipes. 

Mr Yu is driven by perfection and his one desire is to create dishes that will truly inspire each diner and keep them coming back for more.

When Man Meets Wife

sometime in the early 1980's

After years of living in Colombia, Yu began his travels to the United States of America in search of a more exciting adventure in pursuit of his dreams. Working as a wok cook in a busy Chinese restaurant in Flagstaff, Arizona it is here he met his wife and lifelong business partner- Ana.  


The both grew close quickly, and together they ventured into every aspect of running and owning a restaurant of their own.  Both husband and wife traveled and worked effortlessly to pursue their passions in guest service and great food.  

 

From the 1990's onward, their family grew (4 girls to be exact), their business grew, and now both still work lovingly with one another operating a restaurant together.  It is promising that either William or Ana will be there to bless every customer with a great meal and smile during each guest dining experience.
